Since his retirement as president of Dresser Machinery International Division in 1986, Hutton has served as vice-president of sales at CECO. Hutton graduated from Columbia University Engineering Midshipman's School and served in the US Navy during World War II as a Chief Engineer; he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
