Background and Areas of Responsibility

As President, Mr. Hotze is responsible for the overall operations and profitability of Compressor Engineering Corporation's Compressor Group. Mr. Hotze has been involved in the compressor and engine industry since his father, Ernest Hotze, founded CECO in 1964.

Mr. Hotze has cultivated vast knowledge of the operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, sales and marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. Just prior to becoming President in April of 2003, Mr. Hotze served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In his nearly 20 years of service with CECO, Mr. Hotze has served as Facilities Planner, IT & Telecom Network Director, Manager of Defense Sales, Director of International Sales, Director of Transmission Sales. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1993.
