CECO Piston Pin Bushing
Features	Benefits
Precise interference fit between the bushing O.D. and the piston pin bushing hole I.D. of the connecting rod	Sufficient interference fit to hold the bushing securely in place. With too little interference, the bushing would twist out of the connecting rod. Too much interference will cause the I.D. of the bushing to become deformed and prevent the smooth rocking motion of the piston pin. This also aids in heat transfer.
Oil grooves on loaded side of the bearing	Good oil retention and distribution for friction reduction and long part life.
Dual metal construction: steel backing and bronze running surface	Steel for strength and bronze for a compatible running surface with the piston pin.
Anti-rust coating on steel backing	Protects the metal backing against rust and corrosion. This insures superior metal to metal contact between the bushing and connecting rod.
